Medicare
Medicare is a Federal healthcare program available for eligible elderly Seniors aged 65 years and older as well as those who are under the age of 65 and receiving Social Security Disability benefits.
Medicare covers healthcare needs with 2 major parts.
• Medicare Part A covers Hospitals which is inpatient hospital services and care upon admission which also covers surgeries and treatment.
• Medicare Part B is Medical Services which includes doctor visits, outpatient health exams and treatments. Part B also covers preventative services which generally are FREE to Medicare beneficiaries.
Medicare is governed under Center for Medicare and Medicaid Services under the US Department of Health and Human Services but Application for Medicare is administered by the Social Security Administration, an independent government agency within the United States of America government.
